How GeoThermal systems work

The Natural Way The earth absorbs almost 50% of all solar energy and remains a nearly constant temperature of 50° to 70° F depending on geographic location. In winter, a water-antifreeze solution circulating inside a sealed loop absorbs heat from the earth and carries it to the geothermal unit. Here it is compressed to a higher temperature and sent out as warm air or warm water to your indoor system for circulation throughout your home. In the summer, the system reverses and expels heat from your home to the cooler earth via the loop system, creating and air-conditioned environment. This heat exchange process is not only natural, but is a truly ingenious and highly efficient way to create a comfortable climate in your home.



Radiant Heat

How it works

Hot water is circulated through the floors, walls or ceiling in sophisticated polyethylene tubing known as PEX tubing. The tubing is laid out in a pattern, which provides widespread coverage of the surface being heated. A number of circuits allow for varying temperature control of individual zones within your home. Warm energy radiates from the heated surface to other objects within your home maintaining cooler air temperatures while providing the ultimate in comfort and warmth to you and your family. The heat source can be provided by a Geothermal heat pump or a boiler. There is no better type of heat available to you!
