Based on my experience with Gerard and his EarthHeat team, I would highly recommend EarthHeat for your residential Geothermal/Radiant heating Project.

There were many stages of the project that began when the foundation and then the concrete slab in the basement were being done. Each of these and downstream stages needed to be coordinated with other trades people working on the house and Gerard and his team were always there to do what they needed to complete in a timely manner. When we were rushing to get the system operational so we had heat for the plaster board installation, Gerard and Jerry, one of Gerard’s team members, worked well into the evening in adverse conditions to get the system operational. This was a good example how they went beyond the call of duty to make sure the plaster board installation could proceed on schedule.

After many years living in a home with an inadequate heating system in terms of comfort and cost of operation, we knew from the start the heating system in our new home would be a key feature.

Through research on the internet we quickly decided on a Geothermal in floor Radiant heating system. Geothermal heating is a renewable energy heating system with efficiencies close to 400% , i.e., almost four dollars’ worth of heating energy for every dollar spent on electricity.

After our architect completed the drawings for the new house it was time to find the right company to do our Geothermal heating system. We searched the internet for qualified companies in the Seattle/Everett area to bid on our project and sent ” Requests for Quotations” to 6 different companies. Upon receiving the Quotations I contacted each of them to talk about their proposal.

After these discussions and comparing their quotes to do the job I quickly narrow the selection down to EarthHeat of and one other company. I met with representatives of these companies to go over their proposals for our Heating system. Gerard Maloney, EarthHeat’s President, came to our home to go over his proposal for our system. From the start Gerard made a good impression on both my wife and myself. He was very knowledgeable and professional in all aspects of the project from sizing of the ground loops, Geothermal heat pump selection to the Radiant floor design and zone layouts. Based on these face to face reviews and the earlier phone conversations, it was obvious EarthHeat had more hands on knowledge and experience in doing this type of heating system than any of the others, plus the fact that EarthHeat’s price to do the job was slightly lower than the lowest of the other bids. Several of the other companies had very high quotes for our project. Based on this we signed a contract to have Gerard’s company do the heating system in our new home.

Gerard and his team were always pleasant and professions in all aspects of doing my heating project. I was also pleased that there were none of the typical surprises that add cost to the project. The final cost came in the same as the original quotation from EarthHeat. Our new home is ready to move in to and based on temperature measurements throughout the house, I’m convinced we are going to be very pleased with our heating system. Based on my experience with Gerard and his EarthHeat team, I would highly recommend EarthHeat for your residential Geothermal/Radiant heating Project.

I couldn't recommend a plumbing or geothermal vendor more highly than EarthHeat and we're extremely glad that we choose to work with them.

EarthHeat started and completed the project just as promised, with no unexpected costs. Other vendors who have seen our installation have commented on the quality and neatness of the installation and the high end controller that EarthHeat chose to use. I proudly show off our heating system to visitors.

When we were buying a house seven years ago, we determined that we wanted to upgrade it to a geothermal heating system with hydronic radiant heat throughout. This was a big project, and made more complex because it was a retrofit rather than a new build situation. We thoroughly researched all the suppliers in the area, and even their competitors told me that EarthHeat was the only local company at that time that could do the whole job themselves, rather than farming out parts of it, and many competitors confirmed that they themselves used EarthHeat for subcontracting work such as installing the ground loop.

I discussed the project extensively with EarthHeat personnel, and I probably drove them crazy with my questions! I really appreciated their answering all my questions, as I started with little knowledge of geothermal heating systems. In the end, EarthHeat performed the entire installation, including the ground loop, the heat pump, 3400 square feet of Quik Trak flooring, and performed miscellaneous plumbing. Unlike most contractors, EarthHeat started and completed the project just as promised, with no unexpected costs. Other vendors who have seen our installation have commented on the quality and neatness of the installation and the high end controller that EarthHeat chose to use. I proudly show off our heating system to visitors. But much more importantly, EarthHeat has stood behind their installation 110% over the years. They have gone well beyond any warranty requirements in assisting us with the ongoing operation of the system, making repairs, etc. On their own initiative, they have even come out and made plumbing modifications to improve the efficiency of our system’s operation at no cost to us. I could not imagine that a contractor would be that dedicated to supporting their installed customers—most have no interest in you once they’ve been paid.

For these reasons, I couldn’t recommend a plumbing or geothermal vendor more highly than EarthHeat, and we’re extremely glad that we choose to work with them.

As a general contractor myself, I've had years of experience to know and understand quality, and I'm very pleased and proud to show the craftsmanship of EarthHeat to anyone seriously considering ground source heating.

Excellent Geothermal Contractor – My wife and I wanted to convert our home heating source to Geothermal, or Ground Source heating, and stop using oil. We had an excellent experience with EarthHeat and a very successful project.

The planning, engineering, installation, and cutover went without a hitch. Also, We now enjoy free hot water as a byproduct of our geothermal heat pump. EarthHeat understood our requirements, and worked with us every inch of the way. Anytime we had a question about anything, they were right there ready to help, very professional and customer oriented. As a general contractor myself, I’ve had years of experience to know and understand quality, and I’m very pleased and proud to show the craftsmanship of EarthHeat to anyone seriously considering ground source heating. All work was done according to estimates. In fact, due to my experience, there were several things that I felt I could do myself, and they were very flexible, allowing significant savings.

If there were opportunities to save money without compromising the quality, they did not hesitate to help us. They use only the highest quality components. Invoices were very detailed and easy to understand. Anyone seriously considering ground source (geothermal) heating, I would not hesitate to recommend EarthHeat as a contractor.

While some companies "talk the talk" about integrity, EarthHeat "walks the talk."

The team from EarthHeat successfully converted our oil heating system over to geothermal on budget and on time. To say we love the new system is certainly an understatement and given the price of oil these days, the timing of this conversion could not have been better.

Equally important is the patience and determination displayed by the EarthHeat team. Our project threw a lot of curve balls at the team and yet they worked the problems, one by one, and resolved them all. Their solution was elegant and efficient and in spite of the myriad of challenges and complexities offered by our home, that same solution, in the end, was elegantly simple, too.

What resulted was a reliable installation that is saving us a money and grief, every day. As importantly, the enduring trust we have in EarthHeat to solve the most complex problems and the dedication they have towards customer service cannot be overstated. Indeed, while some companies “talk the talk” about integrity, EarthHeat “walks the talk.”
